Danny is working for Salt River Ag fertilizer and spraying business owned and operated by Alan and, when needed, for GSG, Inc. farm, also owned and operated by Alan. He also has a sizeable business interest of his own in seed sales.
Brandy is teaching Home Economics at North Shelby High school and is planning on starting work on a masters degree at South Shelby. The course will be available at a slightly higher cost there but with less travel and time involved.
Home Under Construction
Located about 1/2 mile West of the junction of Shelby M and MO 15 South of Bethel, it is just about 2 miles from the school where B teaches and will shorten her commute time considerably. B and Danny are doing much of the finish work on the inside and Danny will build the deck on the outside. The deck and front porch will be an integral structure on three sides of the house. I'm not certain but think there are three bedrooms and three baths. The kitchen, dining area and living room are essentially one room with a fireplace and ceiling vaulted to the roof. The trapezoid windows are on the East end of the house so the morning sun will stream through them. The basement will be finished behind the double doors and that is where they are living now while workng on the rest of the house. It's a busy time at the Uhlmeyers now, May, 2002.
Help is on it's way!
Checking the boxes on the planter.
It's a big job. There's 16 for corn
and 31 for beans.
It's a big step. Just be patient folks.
Mason, The Rifleman
His father sent these pictures today with the admonition,
"It's too late............he's ruined"!
