Almost all of the information contained in this site was compiled by others than myself. Elva Bowles, sister to Carl Gillespie, was responsible for almost all the information regarding the Schwanke family and the Gillespie family. Elva had spent years in patient research, assembling the history. David and Arleta Longenecker were responsible for most of the data regarding the Huston side of the family. Their mother, Lesta Longenecker had compiled and saved much of the information and pictures. I have merely used their information and assembled it around old pictures in a box that we were fearful would be unknown in another generation or two.
